Bradley Volmering
Bradley Joseph Volmering, age 63 of Palms, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at his home, with his family by his side, under hospice care. He was born on February 25, 1961 to the late Eugene and Dian (Scholtz) Volmering. Brad and Ellynne Wolschleger were united in marriage on July 17, 1982 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. For over forty years, Brad worked for Jim and Dorothy Meissner, on their farm. They were his second family. He was always there to help with anything he could and the Meissner's were always very grateful and cherished his hard work ethic. Brad was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and was quite the outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, kayaking, fishing, running, anything with an adventure, Brad was there. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved going and supporting his grandchildren at sporting events, and was always their biggest fan. Brad is survived by his wife Ellynne Volmering of Palms, children: Rebecca (Geoff) Selesky of Haslett, Derek (Charity) Volmering of Macomb, grandchildren: Benjamin, Hayden, Kaia, Kalia, Leila, siblings: James (Denise Volmering, of Tuscon, AZ, Steven (Donna) Volmering of Harbor Beach, Michael (Rhonda) Volmering of Harbor Beach, Bryce Volmering of Mt. Pleasant, Lynn (Kurt) Kern of Bridgeport, Lisa (Brent) Moeggenberg of St. Johns, John (Christy) Volmering of Midland, and brothers and sisters-in-law: Dale Geiger of Ruth, Chris Grekowicz of Harbor Beach, Harvey (Vicki) Wolschleger of Chesterfield Township, Perry (Carole) Wolschleger of Harbor Beach, Daryl (Debbie) Wolschleger of Harbor Beach, Brenda (Don) Plester of Harbor Beach, Charlene (Leroy) Guitar of Croswell, Gail (Mike) McConnachie of Deckerville, Bev (John) Ginther of Harbor Beach, Dean (Monica) Wolschleger of Memphis, Darrin (Connie) Wolschleger of Harbor Beach, and many nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Dian, sisters: Debra Geiger and Michele Grekowicz. Funeral Mass for Brad will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11 am, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony's Church Cemetery. Visitation for Brad will be Tuesday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Wednesday, will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
