Branden McCain Obituary
Branden Le'A McCain, age sixteen, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Friday, December 27, 2024 in Person County. He was born August 22, 2008 in Durham County, was a junior at Person High School and a member of the Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Virginia Paylor and Reginald Pulliam and paternal grandfather Bobby Lee McCain.
Branden is lovingly remembered by his mother, Felita P. McCain of the home; his father, Bobby Leon McCain (Lisa Hamlett); cherished by his siblings: Tyreck Clark of the home, Eric Adams of Milton, North Carolina, Marcus McCain of Semora, North Carolina, Christopher McCain of Leasburg, North Carolina and Justin McCain, also of Semora; paternal grandmother, Annie McCain; his beloved aunts, including his special "Nana," Tessie P. Chambers and Patricia McNair, both of Roxboro, North Carolina and Christina McCain-Harris of Providence, North Carolina; his uncles, including his special uncle "Tee," Thomas Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia, Brad McCain (LaKeisha) of Vernon Hill, Virginia and Reginald Paylor of Roxboro who also held a special place in his life; one special cousin who he was close to and together with just about all of the time, Shemel Paylor, also of Roxboro; and a host of other loving relatives, friends and classmates.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Old Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1111 Oak Grove Mt. Zion Road, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574, with the Reverend Clyde A. Glass, Pastor, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday at the church during the one hour prior to the service when his body will lie in state from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
At other times, the family will receive visitors at his home, 316 Jessie Hicks Road, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574.
