Brandi Ann Core, age 41, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana. Born on January 4, 1984, also in Hammond, Brandi lived her life with a vibrant spirit and a fierce love for her family.
Brandi was known to many by her nicknames "B" and "Brandi Ann," and she carried herself with a fiery energy that left an impression wherever she went. She had a passion for the simple joys in life-spending time with her loved ones, shopping for just the right find, decorating her space and most of all cleaning, and treating herself to getting her nails and hair done. These were more than hobbies; they were expressions of her personality-full of life.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Tammy Kling (Okie); her daughters Samantha Fisher (Robby), Brooklynn, and Rylei; and her cherished grandchildren Robert Fisher Jr., known as "TRob," and Waylon. Brandi's sister Victoria Arnone (Chris), brother Devin Gray, five nephews, and three nieces also hold dear the memories they shared with her.
Brandi was preceded in death by her grandfather Sonny Core, grandmother Evelyn Core, father Will Core, sister Jacy Core, and brother Brett Core. Their memories remain part of the tapestry of Brandi's life story.
To those who knew Brandi best, she was a firecracker-strong-willed yet deeply loving. Her family remembers her as gentle and kind beneath a tough exterior shaped by pride and pain. She faced personal struggles with quiet resilience and often downplayed her own needs out of concern for others. In her own words: "Other people have it worse," or "I got it, don't worry" That strength-sometimes stubborn but always sincere-is what made Brandi perfectly imperfect.
Her family asks that when remembering Brandi, you look beyond the hardships she faced. See instead the woman who loved fiercely, laughed loudly, decorated joyfully, and never missed a chance to make someone feel special-even if she was running fashionably late while doing it.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Victory In Christ Church located at 26012 Highway 42 in Holden, Louisiana (70744)
The burial will follow at park lawn cemetery in Ponchatoula La. Afterwards we would like to invite everyone to join us for fellowship located at Victory In Christ Church where the services were held.
In true Brandi fashion-being on time wasn't exactly her strong suit-so if you arrive a little late, know that she'd probably laugh right along with you. That was just her style.
May Brandi's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
