Brandon Lamonte Cross

Brandon Lamonte Cross was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 7, 1988.

Brandon attended Cold Spring, Holy Angels School, and Cardinal Ritter Middle School. He graduated from Northwest High School in 2006. He earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Systems Service Management from Lincoln Technical Institute in 2011.

Brandon confessed his belief in Jesus Christ at a young age and was baptized at Greater Elim Missionary Baptist Church. He joined Eastern Star Church April 2011.

Brandon was employed in the low-voltage electrical industry. He was working on starting his own electrical business, Cross Connections LLC.

Brandon was joyful, loving, and had a contagious smile that invited all. He enjoyed playing and watching basketball. Brandon was a creative writer and enjoyed listening to music. He enjoyed cooking and creating delicious sauces. Brandon loved his friends, family, and working with his Pops (Nolan) on various projects.

Brandon departed this life on April 4, 2024, at 6:20 a.m. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Willie Joyner paternal grandfather Donald Williams Sr. and paternal grandmother Marilyn Sanders aunt Rhonda Williams bonus grandparents Nolan Jr. and Juanita Franklin and aunt Julie Franklin.

Brandon leaves to celebrate his life and mourn his passing, parents Rachelle and Nolan Franklin, and Donald Williams sisters Tracy Hill (Tony), Keisha Wade, Jada Cooley (Avery) and brother Dezmine Franklin (Stephanie) and his daughter, Journee Cross (Sabrina) Grandmothers Hannah Montgomery and Janet Stapleton-Murphy uncle Lynn Cross (Clare) and aunt Shalonda Montgomery and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends in Indiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Nevada, Arizona and North Carolina.
