Brandon Dart Obituary

Brandon Dart, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Granville County, North Carolina, at the age of 53. Born on March 30, 1972, in Lenawee County, Michigan, to Dennis Lee Dart and Emma Louise Peeters, Brandon grew up with a spirit of generosity and a talent for making things with his hands.

He shared 32 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Misty Dart, and together they raised three wonderful children: daughters Ashley and Andrea Dart, and son Alexander Dart. Brandon's legacy continues through his grandsons, Wyatt and Riley Dart, who brought immense joy to his life. His love for his family was evident in every action and word, and he was the cornerstone of their lives.

Brandon is also survived by his father, Dennis Dart and his wife Debra; his mother, Emma Peeters and her husband Vic; his brother, Scott Dart, and his wife Nicole; his grandmother, Marty Merchant; his brothers-in-law, Scott Sherrell with his wife Heather, and David Byrnes, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by his kindness.

For 14 years, Brandon dedicated his skills as a welder and sheet metal fabricator to Tri Angle Metal Works. His craftsmanship was not just a job but a passion, and he took pride in every project he completed. His best friend and employer, Robbie Tilley, will remember Brandon not only as an exceptional employee but as a brother in spirit.

Brandon's interests extended beyond his workbench. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Carolina Panthers, sharing his love for sports with anyone who would listen. His fur babies, Chloe, Kyzer, and Chance, were his constant companions, often found by his side as he watched the races or cheered on his favorite team.

Described by those who knew him as a workaholic, he was handy, thoughtful, and witty, He was the person you could call for help, no matter the time or the task, and he would be there with tools in hand and a smile on his face.

Brandon Dart lived a life marked by the love he gave and the respect he earned. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the deep sense of loss felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Brandon's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5-6pm at Bright Funeral Home with a 6pm Celebration of Life to follow in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Brandon's memory to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, www.komen.org.
