Funeral service for Brandon Edge, age 45 of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Posey officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery with Randy Edge, Jackie Reed, Keith Duncan, Tommy Brown, Steven Taylor, Mike Booth, Wayne Kendall, and Brian Ogles serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be S.S.H.S. Class of 1996 and the employees of Sonic. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 6:00 to 8: 00P.M.at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Edge passed away on May 15, 2023 at his residence.
Brandon was born on November 30, 1977 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to Reginald Leroy Edge and Wanda (Burks) Reed. He worked as a cook at Sonic. Brandon was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School class of 1996, where he was a member of the Wildcat Band and on the soccer team. He was affiliated with Full Gospel House of Prayer.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda Reed and bonus dad, Steve; brother, Bradley Edge; niece and nephew, Ella Edge, and Cole Edge; bonus brothers, Keith Duncan and wife, Marcie, Jackie Reed; bonus sisters, Sherry Reed, Veronica Duncan, Misty Pierce and husband, Paul. Tiffaney Cole; grandmother, Eloisa Edge; uncles, Randy Edge and wife, Debbie, Jimmy Burks; aunts, Patsy Linker, Wilma Sexton, Mary Williams, Cindy Ward and husband, Tony, and Doris English; numerous cousins, bonus nieces and nephews.
Brandon was preceded in death by his father; brother, Dustin Edge; bonus dad, Jerry Cole; bonus brother, Rusty Reed; grandmother, Lillie Mae Burks and grandfathers, Travis Burks and Gerald Edge.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Choice Hospice for their amazing care.
