It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon David Gardner. Brandon passed away Thursday, September 12th, 2024, at the age of 32.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Short will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Brandon was born in Florence a son of David Glenn Gardner and Lisa Desiree Tolbert. He was a graduate of the Lee Academy Class of 2010 where he played Baseball and Football and excelled in both sports and loved to play golf. He was a sweet person, had an infectious smile, kind to everyone, well mannered and very humble. He was well loved by his parents, aunts and uncles and everyone who knew him and will continue to be a light from above. He had an unconditional love for his Paternal Grandparents, Sam and Shelby Gardner. Brandon was a friend to anyone he met. He is once again wrapping his arms around his baby sister Emily and embracing those who have entered the gates of Heaven before him. When you see a blue Forget Me Not, may you always see those gleaming blue eyes and know he is right there with you. Brandon was a member of Union Methodist Church.
Surviving is his father, David Glenn Gardner, McBee and his mother, Lisa Desiree Tolbert, Murrells Inlet. He was preceded in death by his sister, Emily Gardner; his paternal Grandparents, Sam & Shelby Gardner and his Maternal Grand Parents, James C. and Everlyn S. Tolbert.
Memorials may be made to the Lee Academy Athletics Department, 630 Cousar Street, Bishopville, S.C. 29010 or to the Union Methodist Church, P.O. Box 522, McBee, S.C. 29101.
