Brandon Christopher Gist was born on June 19, 1987, in Tacoma, Washington. He remained a resident of Tacoma until God called him home on August 26, 2024. Brandon was a faithful member of Solid Rock Outreach Church and City Family Worship Center, where he played the drums and used his gift of singing until his transition to college. He was also one of the members of the Christian Rap Group known as T.L.R. (Tiny Little Revelation) along with his cousin Adrian and brother Pooh.
Brandon was an exceptional student and had a love for basketball, at Solid Rock Christian Academy, Curtis Middle School, Henry Foss High School and Federal Way High School, you would see him walking the halls with a basketball in his hand, he loved the game. Brandon graduated with honors from Federal Way High School and received a partial scholarship to The Evergreen State College to play the sport that he loved so much, "Basketball".
Brandon was known for his smile and loud voice, which would announce to everyone that he had arrived. Some would get annoyed, but we all knew that, that was just Brandon.
Brandon loved his family and friends and was very loyal and helpful to anyone that asked him to help. He enjoyed having video chats with his daughter Anna, going to family fun nights, going to a BBQ and hanging out with his brothers, cousins and friends, and was known as Uncle B by his nieces and nephews.
On July 31,2024 Brandon was found nonresponsive due to a Cardiac Arrest. His family and friends prayed for him to wake up, but God had other plans for Brandon. On August 26, 2024, Brandon transitioned from this life into the arms of the Lord.
He is survived by his parents Bishop Earnest and Pastor Mae Williams, daughter Anna, Brothers, James (Marlene), Isaac, Justin (Aviance), Earnest II (Melah), Jonathon, and sisters Canika and Devyn, Mr. Reuben Watkins, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends.
