Brandon Richard Grunwald was born on November 14, 1984 in Albert Lea, MN and he received his angel wings on October 7, 2024 at his home in Otsego, MN.
Brandon is the son of Lisa Cromwell & Richard Grunwald. He attended school at NRHEG and then went to attend college at The University of MN in Duluth where he earned his machinist degree.
He became a father in April, 2009 to Aryanna Grunwald (the first girl to steal his heart) and then in February, 2012 to Jaxson (who completed his heart). His kids were his world & they meant everything to him! He enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He was a very proud father that spoke highly of his children with such joy.
Brandon was also proud of his machinist accomplishments. He most recently worked at Lisi in Big Lake, MN where he made many new friends. He also recently bought a camper in Garrison, MN as his new found passion was being on the open water fishing with his family & friends. His contagious laugh, his handsome smile & his continuous pranks will be deeply missed.
Brandon is survived by his mother Lisa Cromwell (Albert lea, MN) & father Richard Grunwald (Patti Grunwald of Wind Lake, WI). His pride & joys Aryanna & Jaxson Grunwald (Beltrami, MN). Sister Alison Grunwald (Mike Nelson of Garrison, MN), brother Brody Grunwald (Albert Lea, MN) & sister Lindsay Lembke (Albert Lea, MN). Bonus brothers Michael Larsen (Kambria of Mirage, AZ) & Justin Larsen (Nicole of Wind Lake, WI). Grandpa Dennis Grunwald (Ellendale, MN) and Grandpa Donly Cromwell (Geneva, MN). Nieces and Nephews that he adored Will Utpadel (Harrisburg, SD), Khloe Nelson (Garrison, MN), & Braxton & Brynlee Lembke (Albert Lea, MN). Emmett, Jeremy, & Nevaeh (Mirage, AZ) & Mateo & Nadalia (Wind Lake, WI).
He is preceded in death by his grandmother's Joanne Cromwell & Barbara Grunwald, whom he missed dearly.
A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the United Methodist Church in Ellendale, MN. A visitation will be held from 2-5pm on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the church, along with an hour before the service at the church. Reverend Randy Cirksena officiating.
