Brandon Hewatt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Memorial Park East Funeral Home - Braselton on Dec. 23, 2025.
Brandon Michael Hewatt of Braselton, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1974, in Snellville, Georgia to Sandy Juhan and Marvin Hewatt.

Brandon had a sharp wit and an effortless sense of humor. He had a way of making people feel included, whether you had known him for years or had just met him. Above all, Brandon loved his family and was incredibly proud of his children, Cameron and Vivian, who were the center of his world.

Brandon found joy in the things that brought people together. He loved selling cars-not just for the deal, but for the connection-earning trust, telling stories, and making customers feel like friends. At home, he could often be found cooking or watching old movies, or out on the water, taking family and friends for a day on the boat. Wherever Brandon was, laughter and good conversation usually followed.

He is survived by his fiancée, Jennette Ellerman and her daughter, Kalista Ellerman; son, Cameron; his daughter, Vivian; his mother, Sandy (Jimmy) Juhan; his father, Marvin (Valerie) Hewatt; his brother, Dustin (Rae) Hewatt; and his sisters, Marissa Hewatt (Michael) Stockton and Meredith (Randy) Hooker.

Brandon will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the way he made everyone around him feel special. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the Braselton Room at Braselton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Braselton Funeral Home, 5357 Hwy 53, Braselton, Georgia 30517 is in charge of arrangements. Send on-line condolences to www.memorialparkfuneralhomes.com.

In 2002 Brandon and I spent a year working together everyday when US Auto was expanding. We had fun in those days . Brandon was very intelligent great math skills which are important in our business. If we were working on a deal and I knew something he didn´t as far as an out of state title law or something we didn´t run across every day. He would remind me that he was born the same year I graduated from high school and someone of my advanced age should have a lot of knowledge. Sometimes he would drop by and Cameron would be with him those were good days because you saw the real Brandon the father that loved his son .

He left us too soon.

Rest in peace old friend.
