Brandon Antonie Holland age 30, transitioned at his home unexpectantly on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Brandon was born on December 22, 1993 in Rocky Mount, VA to the late Sonya Holland and Luster Zeigler. He was educated in the Franklin County School System. As a child and teenager, Brandon attended primitive baptist churches with his late grandfather, Frank Holland, and also First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, VA.
Brandon was married to his wife, Monica, for seven years and treated her children as his own. He enjoyed listening to music, basketball, playing video games with family and traveling. He had an infectious smile that will never be forgotten.
In addition to his mother and maternal grandfather, Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Kidd; and grandmother-in-law, Marlene LaPrade, whom he and his wife served as caregivers for several years.
Left to cherish precious memories is his wife, Monica Holland of the the home; children, Sean Mullins, Maliyah McGhee and Jaylynn Holland; father, Luster Zeigler (Carole); special mother-in-law, Carolyn Brooks; sisters, Jasmine Gill, Destany Frommel, Zoie Beckner; stepsister, Sabrina Hall; brothers, Nathaniel and David Patterson and Jordan Frommel; stepbrother, Zachary Hall; maternal grandmother, Rena Holland; paternal grandfather, Luster Craighead (Marie); godmother, Ann Smith Chism; godsister, Ty-Liah Muse; special great-aunt, Emma Smith; special cousins, Breesha Childress and Sierra Tyree; special friends, Juan Callaway, Vince King, and Daquan Newbill; The Hodges Family and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, December 16, 2024, at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hodges-Lynch Family Cemetery on Doe Run Road, Rocky Mount. His family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 PM.
