Brandon Keith Joyner

Brandon K Joyner, passed away on December 11th, 2023. He is Survived by Melissa, Sidney, Kevin and countless other family members and friends. He is predeceased by both parents David and Leigh Joyner in addition to his paternal and maternal grandparents. He was born in Milton, Florida on December 25th, 1976, graduated from Milton High school, class of 1995. In 1999, he and Melissa were married.
Brandon enjoyed playing baseball, football, and his favorite number was 5, Michael Jackson was his favorite and if you never saw him sing Man in the Mirror you missed a treat!! Blue was his favorite color so it's no surprise his 2nd family was the Blue one. Kids were his weakness and if there was ever an event kids were at you could find him somewhere playing with them.
As he came home from school one day, he was surprised with recruiters sitting at his kitchen table. This is when his love and passion for serving began. He was assigned to the 511th MP CO at Ft Drum NY. In 2006 he joined the TN army, National Guard and was assigned to the 117th Military Police Battalion, 269 MP company. He served Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom as well as other missions throughout his career. His passion for serving continued with he graduated from The Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy in 2017 and began his career with the La Vergne Police Department. He was an avid Florida Gators fan!
He had a true servants heart but more importantly he loved his family endlessly. Being Sidney's dad was the highlight of his life. He was more proud of her and than any other accomplishment in his life and he had many. Brandon lived a good life and had an impact on nearly everyone he ever met. He was a good man, friends, husband and father.
