Brandon John Lewis, age 37, of Bloomer, passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Brandon was born on July 14, 1987, to Richard Lewis and Kim (Hassemer) Lewis.
Brandon was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Bloomer High School – Class of 2005.
Brandon became a father to a son, Hunter, in August of 2023. Hunter was his greatest pride & joy and it showed in how wonderful of a father he was. Along with Hunter he raised his brother, Alex "Boo-Boo".
His favorite past time was spent with family, especially his niece, Aaeya. He loved to snowmobile, making a trip out west with his Artic Cats!
Brandon had a work ethic like no other. He worked on the pipeline and for Donnie Rihn Transport, which led him to see a lot of countryside. His greatest job of all was working as a mechanic at River Country Co-op in Bloomer. When he had a wrench in his hand and was covered in grease from head to toe, he was happy. He would workday and night to figure out the mechanical problem with a vehicle. His dream was to have a shop of his own and that became true this last year when he purchased a home/shed/shop. He spent countless hours working in the shop as well as his job at River Country Co-op.
Brandon is survived by his father, Richard (Judy) Lewis; mother, Kim Lewis; son, Hunter Lewis; fiancé, Charlotte Ledford and son, Alex; sisters, Ashleigh (Isaiah) Williams, Cheri (Jim) and Kathy; brother, Steve (Shelly); godfather, Michael Koehler; best friend, Clyde Baier. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Aaeya, Brian (Courtney), Jessica (Adam), Kelsey (Luke), Joelle (Jake), Logan (Chandler), Megan (Scott).
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Doris Lewis and Delvin and Bernice Hassemer; sister, Bobbi Jo Lewis; godmother, Patricia Koehler; uncles, Tim Lewis, Rodney Hassemer, and Randy Hassemer.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Bloomer. A luncheon & celebration of Brandon's Life will follow at the Bloomer Moose Lodge. Burial will be private at a later date in St. Paul's North Catholic Cemetery, Bloomer.
Please wear your favorite River Country, NAPA, Snap-on or Artic Cat shirt.
