Brandon Irwin Soffer

Brandon "BIS" Soffer passed away peacefully on August 8, 2022, after a brief illness. He was born in New York, NY to the late George and Marcia B. Soffer. He lived in many states throughout his childhood before settling in York, PA at 13 years old. He graduated from York Suburban High School in 1969 and York College in 1974. He later moved to Annapolis, MD in 1986.

Brandon worked for Verizon Communications for 20 years and founded Hey… Ice Cream Man, an ice cream catering company. He loved marching bands, doo-wop music, cars, history, finance, current events, attending Baltimore Ravens games, and good conversations with family and friends.

Brandon is survived by his wife of 41 years Marcia C. Soffer, his children Matthew Soffer, Leesy Garman, her husband TJ Garman and two grandchildren Poppy and Graham. He is also survived by his brother Lowell Soffer and his wife Vickie of Red Bank, NJ as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout the country. He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Soffer of York, PA.

There will be a private celebration at a later date.
