Brandon Lee Stewart, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, and friend to all that knew him. Brandon was born and raised in Cleveland. He loved his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ, with a fierce passion that most people could only dream of. He was an active member of his church, Benton Pike House of Prayer, and the gospel singing group, Forgiven By Grace. Brandon loved spreading God's Word and sharing his own testimony with others. He was a true overcomer. Brandon's greatest accomplishment was his two beautiful children, Braxton and Kinsley, who he loved with every fiber of his being. His smile, infectious laugh, and huge heart will be greatly missed. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and that is a truth that Brandon would want us to hold onto.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, L.V. and Eula Ledford and James and Claudia Beshears; grandfather, Grady Stewart; grandmother, Jean Albritton; and cousin, Nathaniel Ledford.
Those left to cherish his memory are the love of his life, his best friend, and his soul mate, Christina Stewart of Cleveland and their children, Braxton Stewart and Kinsley Stewart; his loving parents, Jeff and Gail Stewart of Cleveland; twin brother, Bryan Stewart and his wife Erica of Cleveland; sister, Shelley Swanson and her husband Brent of Cleveland; grandparents, Winston and Louise Ledford of Cleveland; grandfather, Duane Albritton; special nieces, Landyn Stewart, Carson Stewart, and Brooklen Redden; and special nephews, Braylen Stewart, and Neyland Stewart; and several special aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Prock, Reverend Terry Ledford, and Bryan Stewart officiating. Interment will be follow at Lee Cemetery in McDonald with Chris Carnley, Justin Earls, Terry Ledford, Tim Ledford, Bryan Stewart, and Brent Swanson serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
