Melanie Varner Obituary
Melanie Kay Varner, 62, passed away on February 28, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.
Melanie spent several years working as a waitress, where she was known not only for her hard work but also for her engaging personality and her genuine interest in the lives of those she served. She was a natural conversationalist, always ready to listen and share stories.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Nellie Longwith; brothers, Steve and Darrell Longwith.
She leaves behind her son, Adam Varner; sister, Melinda Longwith; nephew, Michael Longwith; extended family and numerous friends.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home, located at 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd, Cleveland, TN 37311 with Reverend Mitchell Wright officiating.
Family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Poole Funeral Home is honored to serve the Varner family.
