Mrs. Brandy Leigh Smith Howell, age 38, wife of John Howell, of 516 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Brandy was born September 20, 1987, in Spartanburg, a daughter of Beverly Gambrell Manners and the late Marshall Brett Smith. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Spartanburg Community College. Brandy had filled clerical positions with various companies over her work career with the last being with Union Medical Center. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church where she had the opportunity over the year to present her love of singing. Brandy was an accomplished photographer, which was another of her joys, but the biggest love of her life was her children, grandchild, her nieces and nephews and her husband.
Surviving in addition to her husband, John, are daughters, Reagan Wicker, and Brylie Howell, a son, Caleb Howell and a granddaughter, Jehma Lawson, all of Union. Brandy is also survived by her mother, Beverly Manners of Kingston, TN, a brother, Joshua Smith and his wife, Casey and their children, Easton, Riley and Eliza. She also leaves behind a very special young friend, Shelby Gilbert. Brandy was predeceased by her father, Marshall Brett Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Hebron Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Alex Calhoun and Terry Lawing
Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 1:00 PM, prior to the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brandy Leigh Smith Howell fund, PO Box 148, Union, SC 29379.
