Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Livestream will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Brandy Annette Roberson Wallace
Was born on October 19, 1960 the first of seven children from the union of Isaac Roberson(deceased) and Charlotte Williams Roberson's(deceased).
Brandy was just as much a Chicago girl as she was a Columbus girl. However, Mifflin High School aka The Punchers had bestowed the honor of a high school diploma to her in 1978. It was very fitting that Brandy graduated a Puncher because she spent her life as a fighter. Brandy had no hesitation when it came to standing up for those she loved the most. Brandy was the type of woman that would give you the shirt off her back and turn your left eye black (joking). After high school Brandy attended Columbus State where she achieved her associates degree in sign language. That's why flipping someone off came so easy (lol).
Brandy also dedicated more than 2 decades of her life in the food service industry where she managed several restaurants successfully. During Brandy's time in the food service industry she gave birth to her first child Jovan in 1983. Seven years later Brandy found love with her life long Husband Michael Wallace. Michael and Brandy joined union February 23,1990. Soon to follow Brandy gave birth to Evan ( 1990), Sydney ( 1991), and Michael( 1992). Brandy loved her children unconditionally and pushed them to be the best version themselves at all times and don't put up with anybodies B.S ( joking but very serious). All jokes aside Brandy loved to have family gatherings where she would man the grill and make her famous Mac and cheese. Nothing brought more happiness to Brandy than being a grandmother and doing grandma things like outings to Dairy Queen, buying gifts and keeping candy around. Brandy has 12 grandkids Charnay Risper, Jovan Risper Jr., Marshawn Crowder, Branaizya Risper, Quanel Mister, Nyomi Carter, Jordyn Carter, Dylan Kelly Jr., Michael Wallace, E'Monie Carter, Malayiah Wallace, Kylan Kelly. And 1 great grandson Jakobi Gibson. The memory of Brandy will live forever as stories will be told by Her Brothers Ivon ( wife Darlene) Roberson, Edward ( wife Irene ) Shine, Kevin Roberson, Cleveland ( wife Inger) Roberson and sisters Octavia Roberson, Kim (husband Brian) Lloyd, Isak ( husband David) Griffiths, her four children Jovan Risper (wife Lakeisha), Evan Carter (husband Jordan), Sydney Wallace, Michael Wallace( wife La'Quita),12 grand kids ( all listed above), her nieces, nephews, and army of cousins. Brandy will be reunited with her Mother and Father, her sister Latonia Roberson, her brother Isaac Roberson Jr., her grandson Jovan Risper and her girl Tina B. It's a party in heaven y'all.
