Paul W. Thomas, age 92 passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 at Story Point in Pickerington, OH where he lived for the last 3 years. Paul was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Paul R. and Mary (Giba) Thomas. He is a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean. In 1956, he returned to Youngstown to marry the love of his life, Marjorie Stein, and raised a family. He was a member of the Plumber & Pipefitters Union #396 for 73 years and retired in 1995. He enjoyed boating on the lakes in the Youngstown area and on Lake Erie, traveling with his wife including a 4-week road trip out west, and spending winters in Florida. He also bowled on a league for many years, scoring a high game of 289. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul R. and Mary Thomas; wife, Marjorie (Stein) Thomas and daughter, Christine Thomas. He is survived by his children, Sheryl (George) Baker and Darryl (Laura) Thomas; grandchildren, Brian (Sugene) Baker, Gina Baker, Bill (Amanda) Thomas, Dennis (Erica) Thomas, Krystal Mills, Dina (Ben) Campolito, Laura (Gaige) Campolito, and Danny Campolito; great grandsons, Tyler, Miles, and Jude; and son-in-law, Dino Campolito. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . The family would like to give a very special "thank you" to the care-givers and hospice team from Corso Care, as well as, the staff at Story Point Pickerington. Their loving care for Paul and the support for the family made all the difference in this difficult time.

Mr. Paul is truly missed by so many people. He always had that wonderful smile on his face which would in turn make me immediately smile as well. He also had such a great sense of humor and always kept us laughing. It was an honor to get to know and help care for him.
