Daniel 'DJ' E. Thomas, Jr., passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, following a lengthy illness. Dan was born on May 12, 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Daniel and Deborah (Burdette) Thomas.

DJ was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1995 graduate of Brunswick High School. He worked for Sterling Co. as a computer processer and for Chase Bank in Arizona. DJ was a gamer and loved playing video games. He was a huge Ohio State Football fan as well. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his visits with his '2nd Mom', Mary. He also was the dog sitter for his mom's dogs. DJ had a very sentimental personality.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Thomas.

He is survived by his sisters, Christina (Scott) Miller and Chelsea (Miles) Flight; 2nd mom, Mary Thomas; nieces and nephews, Khera and Gehrig Miller, and Luke and Ben Flight; and several extended family members in West Virginia.

Cremation will take place. A Celebration of DJ's life will be held on February 28, 2026, at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Alban's, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve - https://reserve-care.org.
