Brant Carl Phillips, age 53 of Mead Oklahoma completed his earthly journey and went to his Heavenly home on Monday September 22, 2025. Brant was born on Friday, March 03, 1972, in Talihina, Oklahoma the second son to Tommy Carl Phillips and Patsy Ruth Duke Phillips and a coveted little brother to Tommy Jason Phillips. Brant is now at peace. No pain, no paralysis, and he is breathing big fresh Heavenly air as he re- united with loved ones gone before him. He joined his dad there, Tommy Carl Phillips, both paternal grandparents Joseph and Jane Phillips, both maternal grandparents Evertt and Tura Duke. Brant loved sports. He was fond of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, but he enjoyed all teams. He became passionate about baseball at a very young age. Growing up he played on several All-Star teams. Many of those friendships made around baseball remain strong today. He graduated high school at Fort Towson in 1990. He started to college on a baseball scholarship but soon left both college and baseball to join the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served our country as one of the few and the proud from 1992 till 1996. Brant married the love of his life Karen Robinson on July 31, 1999. That union lasted 26 years. Together they raised three lovely daughters. He worked for Cardinal Glass in
Durant, Oklahoma for a number of years, leaving only when his health demanded it. He has always been an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and getting in the mud. He loved getting together with family and friends for fish fry's, cook outs, and family holiday meals. He loved us dearly and never forgot to tell us he loved us. His big bear hugs that he gave so freely will be sorely missed. He was a faithful servant, never faltering when we needed help.
