Brayden Blosser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home on Jan. 6, 2026.
Brayden Matthew Blosser 5 of New Lexington passed away January 3, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Brayden was born May 26, 2020 in Zanesville, a son of Kristen E. (Carder McLean) McKinniss and Jalen M. Blosser.

Brayden attended kindergarten at New Lexington elementary, made possible by staff at New Lex elementary and his one on one aide Seth Russell. Brayden loved playing with his siblings and spending the night with his cousins Kylie and Kenzie. He enjoyed swimming, riding bikes, playing on his tablet. B loved being outdoors! He loved Spider-Man and dinosaurs. He enjoyed watching A for Adley, Paw Patrol, and Peppa Pig. Brayden truly was such a light to those he met, or even those that only caught a glimpse of his smile, or heard his laugh, and with that light he would capture your heart with such a warm embrace.

Besides his parents he is survived by his four brothers Kaiden Nutter, Coleson Blosser, Clayton Blosser and Breeze McLean; his Blosser family and McKinniss family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday January 9, 2026 at the J.E Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street Shawnee with Pastor Lee Barnhart officiating.

Friends may call from 12-2 pm on Friday at the funeral home

Following services cremation will take place.

Throughout everything he went through, he never wavered, he never gave into the unimaginable circumstances, he woke up every day with joy in his heart, and a smile on his face, that would bring the most immense joy, comfort and warmth that only he could.
