Brayson Efird age 24, of Benton passed away Friday, October 10, 2025. He was born on May 14, 2001, in Benton, the son of Timothy C. and Wendy Gage Efird. Brayson was a Glen Rose High School graduate Class of 2019, worked in construction and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Malvern.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Donna Gage.

"Brayson had a passion for hunting and fishing, finding joy in the great outdoors. He cherished his time on the football field, holding dear the memories of his years playing the game. His greatest achievement and joy were his son, Asher, he was his best self being Asher's dad. After a long and difficult battle, Brayson has found peace, leaving us with hearts full of love and cherished memories. He will always be remembered for his compassion and strength and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Isaiah 40:31 those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength, soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, and walk and not faint."

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Wendy Collie (Gary) of Sherwood, father, Tim C. Efird of Benton, mother of his son, Hannah Vaughn, son, Asher Efird-Vaughn, brother, Bailey Efird (Suzanne) of Benton, sister, Morgan Efird (Maddie Pack), of Benton, other siblings, Elijah Collie, Chance Shearer, Sarah Collie, Harper Collie and Angel Smith, his grandparents, Donald Gage of Hot Springs, and Carl and Marie Efird of Glen Rose, and niece, Sophie, nephew, Prestynn and a host of extended family and friends.
