Brenda Ballard Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Brenda Lou Ballard, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on June 22, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Born in Austin, Texas on December 15, 1963, Brenda's life was a testament to the power of passion and the strength of family bonds. She departed from this world in San Marcos, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Brenda, affectionately known by those close to her simply as Brenda, was a woman whose heart knew no bounds. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and thoughts with grace and compassion. Brenda's spirit was marked by a profound love for her family, including her brother Bruce Ballard and his wife Joyce, her brother Larry Brent Ballard Jr., as well as her adoring nieces Denise Benedict and Jennifer Erickson and their families.
Predeceased by her loving parents, Larry and Pearl Ballard, her wonderful stepmother Mercer Ballard, and her dear sister Rebecca Ballard, Brenda's memory will be a guiding star for her family, reminding them of the love and care she so freely gave.
Brenda's zest for life was evident in her simple pleasures. She had an unquenchable love for music, which filled her soul with joy and often served as a backdrop to her life's most memorable moments. Her passion for tunes spanned genres and eras, creating a soundtrack that was uniquely Brenda. Additionally, she found delight in the digital challenges of Hangman on her iPad, a pastime that brought her both entertainment and a sense of accomplishment.
Those who knew Brenda would describe her as loving, passionate, and kind-words that only begin to scratch the surface of her beautiful character. Her presence was comforting, her laughter a melody, and her advice a treasure. Brenda's passion for life, despite the challenges she faced, was truly inspiring, and her kind demeanor was a gentle reminder of the goodness in the world.
Brenda's story is not one of sorrow, despite her illness, but one of celebration. It is a story of a life well-lived and a woman well-loved. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, unwavering faith, and the purest kindness-a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those she touched.
As Brenda takes her place in Heaven, she leaves behind a world that is infinitely better for her having been in it. Her memory will be held in the highest regards, a comforting embrace for those she loved. Brenda Lou Ballard's life was a beautiful journey, and though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will forever be a source of joy and inspiration.
