Brenda Burch, 75, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 25 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Born on September 17, 1950, in East St. Louis, Brenda was raised with strong values, a sharp wit, and a love for life. She married Robert Burch on January 30,1997, and together they shared 29 wonderful years of marriage.
Brenda was known for her cut dry humor, her no-nonsense attitude, and her deep devotion to family and friends. She worked as a beautician and found joy in simple pleasures-riding a motorcycle and taking road trips across the USA with her husband, spending time at the casino, and cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals.
She is survived by her husband, Robert A Burch Jr., and her children Tracy Haas (Rob, Nick, Tyler, Hayden), Cindy Lieb (Scott, Connor, Alex), Lisa Knight (Will, Chelsea, Kaylinn, Hannah, Hailey, Austin) and Nichole (Ryan, Duncan, Camden, and Amelia) Willett. Her family and friends will always remember her for her honest advice, her love of good food, and her habit of reading the last page of a book first.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Herr Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until the hour of service at the funeral home. The burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Siteman Cancer Center BJC St' Louis Mo. and the American Cancer Society in Brenda's memory.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Nurse's and Doctors of 9400 ICU, and the social workers and Hospice Staff that had a hand in taking care of her. Making her last days on this earth as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Brenda was an amazing wife, mom, stepmom, grandma and friend and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
