Brenda Gay Burton, age 74, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.Brenda was a graduate of Fulton High School and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family.She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse Taylor and Nesbit Evelyn Riley; sisters, Louise, Lois, and Judy Ann.She is survived by her husband, Palmer "Alvin" Burton; son, Eric Long; twin sister, Glenda Toney; sister, Sandra Riley; brother, David (Diane) Riley.The family would like to offer a special thanks to her Pulmonary PA, Carol Hawkin and Addie at Dr. Bretts office for their care and compassion.Gentry-Griffey Funeral Chapel and Crematory is honored to serve the Burton family and invites you to sign the online registry at www.gentrygriffey.com.
