In addition to his beloved wife, David is survived by his daughters, Wendy Burton and Julie (Burton) Allen and husband, Jody; grandchildren, Eljay Burton, Emily Browder, Johnathan Browder and wife, Anna, Calvin Browder; brother, Mark Burton and wife, Sarah; and sisters, Vicky Storment and husband, Mike and Daisy Harris.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Burton; and sisters, Virginia Jones, Gloria Gottman, Betty Wright, and Joann Reeves; and infant twin sister of Vicky, Linda June Burton.
David retired from Continental (General) Tire. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, reading, and spending time with the family.
Per his wishes, David will be cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
