Brenda Rhodes Craver

Brenda Rhodes Craver, age 76, passed away in Marshall, Texas on August 2, 2023. She was born in Shreveport, LA on August 29, 1946 to John Johnson Rhodes and Mary Pauline Gifford Rhodes.
Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Craver, Sr.; her mother, Mary Pauline Leggion; her father, John Johnson Rhodes; her step-father, Floyd Pete Leggion; her grandsons, Eric Craver and Brent Craver; her sons, Travis W. Craver, Sr. and Paul W. Craver, Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Dani Byrd and Audra Byrd; her grandson, Chance Crescionne and her great-grandson, Carsyn Wall.
She is survived by her children, Robert W. Byrd, Jr., Steve and Kelley Byrd, Thomas R. Byrd, Christey and Jim Lewis, Floyd Craver, Rose Gray, Cathy Howard, David Craver, Billy Craver and Lucille Lester; her grandchildren, Tonya Byrd, Brandy Byrd, Steven Byrd and Kaneisha Gray, Ty Byrd, Courtney and Randall Wall, Reagan and Seth Snyder, Steven Kidd, Samantha Lowery, Jacob Ehrhardt, Caitlyn Jennings; Kelsey and TK Moore, Clayton Byrd, Amy Byrd, Christopher Byrd, Stephaine and Tommy Bass, Jeffery Craver, Saige Gage, Ericka Howard, Maelyn and Deacon Lewis, Bryce and Krystal Wells, Glenn Wells and Zoie Williams, Caitlyn Craver, Destiny Craver; her great-grandchildren, Kinslee Byrd, Skylar Byrd, Kimbrie Byrd, Caydan Byrd, Baylor Wall, Knox Snyder, Skyler and David Snyder, Jett Lowery, Aiden Ehrhardt, Dominic Hunt, Everly Wells and Caelum Freeman; her aunt, Glenda Woods and her brother, Harvey and Linda Leggion.
Brenda attended Sunset Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm.
Funeral service will be held at Sullivan Funeral Home on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 3:00pm with Ladarius Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, TX. Pallbearers will be Bryce Wells, Glenn Wells, Steven Byrd, Randall Wall, Seth Snyder, Ty Byrd and Caydan Byrd. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Lewis.
