Brenda Elaine (Grazio) Dow, age 82, of Raymond, NH, passed peacefully on Monday afternoon, March 9, 2026, at AdviniaCare of Newburyport, after being surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon L. “Buddy” Dow, III, who passed in 2015.
Born in Haverhill, MA on June 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Genevieve (Rocco) Grazio and was a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School, then continued her education in School of Business..
Brenda loved her family and dear friends, enjoyed puzzles, knitting, senior trips to Vermont to see horses, trips to Mt. Washington, and always looked forward to go to Foxwoods and Vegas.
Brenda’s treasured memories will continue to warm the hearts of those she loved so dearly, including her daughter, Barbara Thornton and significant other Jeffrey Lynch of Raymond, NH; her grandson, Steven Thornton and wife Trisha of Raymond, NH; two great-grandchildren, Willow and Skylar, along with several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Teri Funk and her husband William; her son-in-law, Scott R. Thornton; her brother, Richard Grazio and wife Camille, and her sister, Barbara Vizard and husband Lowell of Groveland, MA.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 36 West Main Street, Merrimac, MA 01860, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 AM at the Riverview Cemetery. 161 Main Street, Groveland, MA, where Brenda will be laid to Eternal rest between her husband “Buddy” and her daughter Teri.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Brenda E. Dow can be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Cancer Association.
