Lori (Petrush) Jayne, age 61, of Merrimac, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved wife of Matthew W. Jayne, who was her constant soulmate.

Born in Troy, N.Y. on September 23, 1964, she was the daughter of Edward and Barbara (Bocketti) Petrush. After graduating from High School, she earned a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University and for many years was a Health Information Management Director at Maine Health.

Her life was filled with countless memories that will continue to warm the hearts of those she loved so dearly, her husband, Matthew Jayne; beloved daughters, Elisabeth Jayne and Erin Jayne; her brother, Edward Petrush and wife, Jessica; her sister, Kari Benway and husband, Jeff; along extended family and many friends from near and far.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, MA 01950.
