Mrs. Brenda Gail Hatcher, age 71, of Columbia, TN, left this earth on February 22, 2024. She was born in Nashville, TN and was a daughter of the late Bruce Montgomery Dunn and Louise Vester George Dunn. Mrs. Brenda was a seamstress and loved sewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Roger Dunn, sisters, Roxie and Sherie Lynn Dunn.
Mrs. Brenda loved fishing and mowing her grass. She enjoyed raising flowers, cooking, and baking. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren!
Mrs. Hatcher is survived by her loving children, Billy Joe (Kim) Hartley of Chapel Hill, TN, Courtney (Chris) Cathey of Chapel Hill, TN, Andrea Hatcher of Smyrna, TN; sister, Shelia (Wayne) Yates of Rockvale, TN; brothers, Charles (Shonia) Dunn of Lewisburg, TN, Bruce Dunn of Tampa, FL, Larry (Dana) Dunn of Lakeland, FL, Dale (Linda) Dunn of Homer Glen, IL; sister-in-law, Peggy Dunn of Jonesboro, VA; aunt, Doris George of McMinnville, TN; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many other loving relatives including her nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home and on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 11 AM until 1 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
Dakota Hartley, Brandon King, Cameron King, Cody Davenport, Cody Crutcher, and Charles R. Dunn will serve as pallbearers.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
