Mrs. Brenda Kaye Hargett, 75, passed away Friday January 5, 2024, at her residence. A native of Carter County, Kentucky, she was born on, Monday, January 12, 1948, daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen Wilson Blevins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Finley Cecil Hargett, III and one son, Brent Eric Hargett, two sisters, Sue Jarvis and Anita Porter, two brother in laws, Gene Silvey and Keith Hargett.
Mrs. Hargett is survived by two children, Tracy Hargett Camp and husband Richard of Kings Mountain, Rob Hargett and wife DeAnna of Washington Court House, Ohio, six siblings, John Blevins, Rita Blevins, Ronnie Blevins, Charlie Blevins, Darrel Blevins, and Mary Howard, five grandchildren, Jonathan Hargett, Ashley James, Matthew Warlick, Cassie Hargett, and Cody Hargett, 11 great grandchildren, brother in law and sister in laws, Scott and Alice Selby, Anita Silvey.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 8, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Service from 12-1:45 pm.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, January 8, 2024, in the chapel of Cleveland Funeral Service officiated by Rev. Shane Adkins. Burial will immanently follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers to honor Mrs. Hargett and the love they had for her will be Trinity Greene, Jonathan Hargett, Cody Hargett, Matthew Warlick, Jamie Porter, and Chad Blevins.
