Brenda Hicks Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Kendricks Ferry Church 128 Kendricks Ferry Rd. Gilbert, La. with Bro. Danny Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at South Central Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her father Jewel Wesley Calvit, her mother Joyce Mae Glasscock Calvit, and her infant brother Wesley Lynn Calvit.
Bren-Bren leaves behind to cherish her memories, Son Christopher Michael Hicks and sibling Sylvia Dean Calvit.
Bren-Bren enjoyed reading, she baby sat young children which she loved as her own. She will be remembered for her patience, kindness, and her kind spirit with the joy she brought to each child. Her legacy of love lives in the hearts of the children she help to raise.
Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Jack Trichell, Aaron Basinger, Ryan Powell, Clyde Temple, Jon Michael Book, Steven Hemphill
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mickey Hicks and Rusty Savoie
