LAKE WALES, Ms. Brenda L Knowles, passed away surrounded by her loving family on 12/28/25. Ms. Knowles was born January 4, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio and she was raised in Newport, Kentucky where she attended school and graduated from Newport High School in 1979. She worked many years in the logistics industry with Pyramid, Food Lion and most recently with Walmart Distribution Center 6071 where she was the manager over the Quality Assurance Department. Ms. Knowles was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Ms. Knowles was preceded in death by her parents, James Lester Weisbrodt and Shirley Ann (Gregory) Weisbrodt and her sisters Patsy and Debbie and brother Jimmy.
She is survived by two brothers, Joe and Kenny Weisbrodt , both of Kentucky and her two daughters, Lora Prine (Frankie) of winter Haven and Anna Walker (Josh) of Haines City. She also has two granddaughters, Makayla Kierce (Mason) and Baleigh Prine with one grandson Bryson Prine.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2026 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with Mr. Roger Quarles officiating.
