Marie Davis Obituary
Marie grew up in Newport, Kentucky, and was a proud graduate of Newport High School. A lifelong resident of the area, she was known for her quiet strength, kind heart, and deep love for her family. She devoted her life to caring for those she loved as a homemaker, always placing her family first. Marie was a Christian and held firmly to her faith throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia A. Davis and Samuel Lane.
Marie was the loving mother of Laquae Davis and Trent Davis, and a proud grandmother to Ameerah Davis. She is also survived by her siblings: Belinda Davis, Lynn Hambrick, Clarence Wright, Samuel Davis, and Derek Davis. In addition to her family, she shared special bonds with Joseph Jackson and Nannette Chaney.
Marie enjoyed shopping and watching Madea movies, simple pleasures that brought her joy and laughter. She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to family, and the love she gave so freely.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Care, 40 West 6th Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
