Brenda Kizer
Pontotoc – Brenda Mae Smithey Kizer, 71, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her residence. She was born April 13, 1952 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Julius Eason and Stella Marie Smithey. She was a retired factory worker. She enjoyed playing bingo and playing games on her phone. Before her health declined, she enjoyed crafting, especially crocheting and woodworking. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very loved and will be missed by all who loved her.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2023 at United Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
She is survived by three daughters, Mossie Marie Smith (Terry), Karen Lee Onsby, and Samantha Jane Reed; two sons, Roy Jackson Kizer, Jr.and Jerry Dale Kizer (Fronie); four sisters, Pamela Mason, Jean Roberson, Linda Mowery and Dannette Flowers; one brother, Rick Smithey; twenty-six grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Jackson "Jack" Kizer, Sr.; three sons, Andrew "Andy" Kizer, Rickey Kizer and David Kizer; one great-grandson, Kameron Malone; and one sister, Judy Roberson.
United Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with these arrangements.
