Brenda Mize Obituary
Brenda Mize was born September 1, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Herman and Betty (Stepan) Hoff. She was baptized on December 29, 1957 in Nelsonville, Texas. On March 26, 1977, she married Steven Mize at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Waller, Texas.
Brenda was an Insurance Agent for over 30 years, taking care of anyone she met.
Brenda loved her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She loved scrapbooking, doing puzzles, working on the bulletin boards at church, and hosting people over to their house. Brenda was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her love for cooking with family and friends.
Her loving family includes: husband Steven of 47 years and 3 months; sons Steven James Mize Jr. and wife Jessica, Brandon Michael Mize and wife Alexis, and Andrew David Mize and wife Paige; grandchildren Daniel Robert Mize and Nathan Alexander Mize; brother Russell Dewayne Hoff and wife Robin.
Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Wade Hoff.
Visitation with family present will be Monday, July 1st, from 6pm until 8pm at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 10 am at Brenham Memorial Chapel, with burial to follow at National Cemetery in Nelsonville, Tx.
Pallbearers are Brent Stepan, Daniel "Ray" Stepan, Kenny Sillavan, Blake Schultz, Randy Stepan, and Mitchell Stepan.
Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Stepan.
A special thanks to all the medical professionals, Accent Hospice, Tammi and Kaylee Hudgens caregivers, family, and friends for their endless care while Brenda was at home.
