Brenda S. Nettrouer, 79, of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1946, in Hickman, Kentucky, to the late Willie and Martha (Wright) Standridge. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Brenda was a homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for her family. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Omer L. Nettrouer, and together they built a strong and loving family.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Donny) Violi; her son's, Chad (Christy) Nettrouer; and Daniel (Stephanie) Nettrouer.

She was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren: Rachel (Jason) Oppenheim, Dominic Violi, Katie (Blake) Moore, Isaac Nettrouer, Allison Nettrouer, Noah Nettrouer, Seth Nettrouer, Matthew Nettrouer, Aaron Nettrouer, Micah Nettrouer, Levi Nettrouer, Hope Nettrouer, and Faith Nettrouer.

Her legacy continues through her 9 great-grandchildren: Aiden, Christian, Maya, Millie, Eli, Benji, Oliver, Eden, and Kinsley, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her loving sister, Cathy (Doug) Ward, and her brother, Steve (Pam) Standridge.

Brenda devoted many years of her life working for the PHM School System, Overland Coach, Don Meadows, and ultimately retired from Newmar Corporation. She had a soft heart for small dogs, babies, and a passion for gardening. Brenda and Omer cherished their time spent in Florida, creating many fond memories together, especially when family visited.

Her life was a testament to love in action. She built bridges where others saw walls, and she offered grace where others might have turned away. In her presence, strangers became friends, and friends became family. Brenda will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. Her kindness, warmth, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka, Indiana.
