Brenda Rosik, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on September 25, 1964, Brenda lived her life with an exuberance that inspired all who knew her. She is survived by her cherished sons, Mike & Nick Steger, and her adored daughter, Jenni(David) Malchow. Brenda's love also extended to her beloved grandchildren Hailey and Camdyn, with whom she shared countless precious moments.
Brenda's heart was truly a treasure trove of love. She adored spending weekends at the family camper, where laughter echoed through the trees and memories were made. A gifted baker, she brought joy to many holiday gatherings, especially during Christmas when she delighted in making and decorating cookies with her kids and grandkids, passing on traditions that will live on in their hearts.
An avid reader and sports enthusiast, Brenda was always ready to cheer on a family member or join in on any gathering that called for celebration. Music filled her life, and she had a particular fondness for Styx-a playlist that could brighten any room and lift anyone's spirits.
Professionally, Brenda dedicated 25 years to Michels Corporation, where she excelled in numerous roles, culminating as an equipment allocations analyst before her retirement in 2020. She had a remarkable knack for numbers, and her colleagues often marveled at her ability to recognize drivers as Michels trucks passed by on the highway. Brenda also found joy in volunteering, particularly at Quarry Quest, where she took pride in giving tours of the quarries.
Brenda was a proud graduate of Laconia High School, class of 1983, and her spirit and warmth touched all those who crossed her path.
Brenda is survived by her foster parents, Dave and Joanie Schultz, and her siblings-Karen Turnbo, Jean Verdien, Tami (Jimmy) Fritz, April (Steven) Buhrow, Jodi (Scott Roffers) Mallas, Bill (Sandy) Verdien, Dusty (Allison) Schultz, Doug (Heather) Schultz, and Jeff (Julie) Schultz. And many neices and nephews.
She joins her predeceased brothers, John Verdien and Stevie Mallas in eternal rest.
