Brenda Strack

Brenda S. Strack, 75, of Saranac, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the UVM Health Network – CVPH, Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side.
Brenda was born in Plattsburgh, February 13, 1950, the daughter of Clement and Jean (Lobdell) Coryer.
Brenda graduated from Saranac High School in 1968. Brenda worked hard her whole life either working at local businesses or as a US Mail Carrier.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Jean(Lobdell) Coryer, her grandparents, Harvey and Mabel Lobdell and William and Helen Coryer.
Brenda is survived by her long time partner Craig Stoughton. Her children, Lorrie(Robert) Quandahl from Virginia. Todd(Heather) Strack of Saranac, Jessica(Jon) Wells of Morrisonville, and Shauna(Josh) Grube of Altona. Her beloved grandchildren, Sarah(Colin) Govan, Danielle Quandahl and Caleb Porter, Benjamin Strack and Natasha Vella, Samantha Wells and Travis Mauro, Alexander Strack and Avery Turner, Victoria Wells, Michael Strack and Bailey and Ellie Grube. Her Great-grandchildren, Hailey and Colin (C5) Govan. Her sisters, Judith Allinson and Linda Coryer. Her brothers, Clem(Mary) Coryer and Brad(June) Coryer. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brenda was a devoted partner, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all she knew and loved. She was an avid gardener and her flowers in bloom could have won prizes. They were so beautiful. Brenda made the most beautiful Christmas wreaths that people would drive in to buy every year and she could rank a cord of wood like no one's business. Her family knows they were divinely blessed to have Brenda in this life and she will be terribly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Rd, Peru. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Noon, at the Church of the Assumption, Redford, with Rev. Michael Jablonski, parish priest, celebrating. Burial in the parish cemetery will be at a later date. A reception to celebrate Brenda will be held at the American Legion Post 1618 in Redford following the funeral services, please come share a memory that will help to sustain us through this time.
In lieu of flowers, if you would like to, Brenda was a devoted supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
