Brenda Thompson Obituary
Brenda Loretta Thompson, 78, of Ft. Branch, IN passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was born September 28, 1946 in Princeton, IN to the late James H. Dunn and Kathryn I (Colvin) Dunn. Brenda graduated from Princeton High School in 1965 and shortly after married the love of her life, Richard Thompson, July 6, 1965. They were blessed with 60 years of marriage. She worked as a Group Leader for Orion Electric until she retired in 2006. Brenda enjoyed time outdoors, especially camping and fishing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Brenda was loved dearly and will deeply be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James H. Dunn Jr., Buddy Ray Dunn, and Frankie Dewayne Dunn.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Richard Thompson; children, Aaron (Karen) Thompson and Carrie (Michael) Workman; grandchildren, Breann (Noah) Wade, Braiden Thompson, Aaron "A.J." Thompson, Kaylee (Noah) Evans, Allie (Evan) Williams, Maggie Shaw, Preston Workman, and Kaylan Workman; 2 great grandchildren with 3 on the way; and sister, Kathy (Bill) Grubb.
The Funeral Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating and interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
