Brenda Vernetti Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 17, 2026.
Brenda Marie Vernetti (Coron), age 60, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Born on April 7, 1965, to Donald Vernetti Sr. and the late Teresa (Baron) Vernetti. After Brenda graduated from Luther L Wright High School, she went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. Once she exited the Army, she furthered her education at Gogebic College. After many years of taking care of people and animals, she earned her CNA license and worked as a CNA for numerous years. Brenda was a selfless and caring daughter who took great care of her mother Teresa. Brenda spent a lot of her time working on her farm with her grandchildren. She loved horses, especially her horse Uno, who was her best friend for 19 years. Her dedication to helping and supporting her family was never unnoticed as a loving mother, sister and Nana. Her grandchildren were her world, and she would do everything she could for them. Supporting them in all their endeavors was something she truly enjoyed. One of her labors of love, most known by her friends and family, was her amazing cooking. Brenda's antipasto, lasagna, and many other dishes were always able to feed her family well. She will be deeply missed.

Brenda is survived by: her partner John LaPlant; her father Donald Vernetti Sr.; her children, David, Jody, Joseph and Jessica; her many "Love you like my own" children; her grandchildren, Brianna, Alivia, Makenna, Chase, Aribella, Jaxon, Ellie and Maelee; her brothers David (Lori) Vernetti and Donald Vernetti Jr. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is precedced in death by her mother Teresa Vernetti, her sister Bette Vernetti and the father of her children Joe LaPlant

A celebration of life will be held in April in Ironwood, MI with her friends and family.
