Brenda Sue Warnock

Funeral services for Brenda Sue Warnock, age 67, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday July 17th, 2023, at Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Stephen Robinson and Rev. Curtis Warnock officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed at https://my.gather.app/remember/brenda-warnock
Mrs. Warnock was born on September 29, 1955, in Sandersville, Georgia. She worked for the Department of Defense and served on the Alamo Federal Executive Board. Mrs. Warnock taught students of every level during her career, from pre-k to professionals. Mrs. Warnock achieved a Masters' of Education in 2005 and PhD of Education in 2015 with a specialization in professional studies in education. In 2022, she retired as Chief Education Officer for Department of Defense Health Agency, training senior healthcare professionals. Her students and the educators she trained will continue to benefit from her impact for decades. She was a member of San Antonio First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Wayne Bethel. Mrs. Warnock passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Charles "Steve" Warnock of San Antonio, TX; her mother, Mary Lizzie Kersey Bethel of Brewton; son, Shawn Stephen Warnock (Janine); two daughters, Cari Shannon Warnock Miller (Casey) and Bethany Suzanne Warnock Davis (Brian); two brothers, Delbert Wayne Bethel, Jr (Debra) and Robert Lyle Bethel (Paula); 11 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6pm- 8pm on Sunday July 16th, 2023, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory in Dublin, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Warnock, Damin Erwin, Violet Warnock, Levi Miller, Jack Miller and Christian Miller.
Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel are in charge of the funeral arrangements.
