It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Leigh Williams on November 8, 2024, at the age of 66. Brenda was born on December 26, 1957, in Wilmington, DE to the late Charles R. Williams Jr. and Marion Lenora (Lobato) Williams.
In her free time, Brenda enjoyed cooking, baking, taking care of her grandchildren and making some of the best caramel popcorn you could ever enjoy. Additionally, Brenda was an avid reader and enjoyed an extensive variety of movie watching.
Brenda was a very strong-willed and independent woman. Unfortunately, that would all come to an end in mid-2015 when she was diagnosed with Dementia. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the hospital, nurses, and staff for all the care and compassion given during the last few years of her life while in their care.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by sister, Sally Jean Morris and brother, Charles Richard Williams, III.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Annisa (Brian) Partee of Middletown, DE, and Stephanie (Rudi) Kirchenwitz of Rifle, CO; sisters, Karen Williams of Berthoud, CO, Rhonda Wilkinson and Stephanie Yee, both of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren, Aiden, Savannah, Chloe, Charlie, Ella; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Private services to be held by the family.
