Brenda Clement Wilson, 67, wife of Rick Wilson, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. She was born in Boca Raton, Florida, on January 9, 1958, to the late Barbara Hargrave Clement and Rev. Richard Clement. Mrs. Wilson was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Frankfort, where she actively sang in the choir and volunteered as a Spanish interpreter for the Clothes Closet Mission. She has always enjoyed singing and was a member of the Georgetown College Chorus, Western Kentucky Chorale, Aeolian Club Handel's Messiah Choir in Central City, First Baptist Church choir in Greenville, KY, First Baptist Church choir in Smithville, TN, Second Baptist Church choir in Greenville, KY, and was asked to sing solos for many events.

She was a student at Apollo High School and Daviess County Schools in Owensboro, KY, and a member of Pleasant Grove and Panther Creek during mission furloughs. She attended Language School in Costa Rica and graduated from high school at Alliance Academy in Quito, Ecuador, with honors. After graduating from Georgetown College with honors, she substituted in Muhlenberg County schools for a short time and then worked as a Residential Energy Advisor for Kentucky Utilities. She also attended Western Kentucky University earning a master's in education and taught elementary school, secondary school, homeschool, and special education. She most recently retired from Providence Christian Academy of Georgetown, KY, teaching their first high school students. She taught her sons in homeschool K-12, the Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts, which were close to her heart as she had both sons become Eagle Scouts.

Her vivacious smile and laughter always filled the room, but her dedication to secure her students' learning environment was a priority. Loving her grandchildren, family, and being a prayer warrior were her passions as well. She was a leader and participant in her Bible study group for over 13 years.

Besides her husband, Rick, those left to cherish her memory include her sons, William Clay (Deneé) Wilson, Weston (Amber) Wilson; brothers, David (Susan) Clement, Bill (Kay) Clement of Tampa, FL; sister, Mary (Brett) Harrington of Fishers, IN; sister in law, Dana (Billy) Knight of Bowling Green, KY; grandchildren, Eden Wilson, Evelyn "Evey" Wilson, Elijah Wilson, Maverick Wilson, and Elsie June Wilson; and aunt, Betty Richards of Pensacola, FL.
