Brendon Thomas Urick

Brendon Thomas Urick, a cherished soul whose love for life was as profound as the melodies he adored, passed away on November 13, 2025, at the River District Hospital in East China, the very place where his story began on May 14, 2000. Brendon's journey, though brief, was marked by an infectious joy and a passion for the simple pleasures that knit the fabric of a life well-lived.
Raised in the warm embrace of his family, Brendon was the beloved son of Jennifer and Raymond Urick, who provided him with unwavering care and affection throughout his life. He is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Ray; brothers, Kenny (Haley Parish), Brian, and Alex (Paige Hollis) Urick; grandparents, Connie and Stephan Wojtyca, and Ken and Dawn Urick; as well as his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory.
Brendon's educational journey started at Woodland Developmental Center. His teachers and classmates remember him as a beacon of positivity. Brendon loved music, especially Eminem. Brendon's enthusiasm for a good meal was well-known. He found comfort in the companionship of his dogs and cats. One of Brendon's favorite indulgences was a soothing bath with the jets on.
Brendon's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring power of music. His absence leaves a silence that echoes through the lives of those he touched, but his melody will continue to play in the hearts of his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club, 2402 Belle River Rd, East China Township, MI 48054, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial-Bower Rose Funeral Home.
