For 35 years, Ann served as the City Clerk of New Baltimore, where she was not only a respected colleague but also a friend to many. Her commitment to her work was matched by her involvement in various associations, including the Holy Cross Daughters of Isabella and the Marine City Garden Club. Ann's dedication to her community was unwavering, and her contributions will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
Ann's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was a devout member of her church and found joy in working at Bingo hosted by Holy Cross. Her love for her faith was evident in her kindness and generosity, which she extended to everyone she met. Ann was a woman who loved all and was loved by all in return.
Her interests were as varied as they were fulfilling. Ann was a founding member of the "Thirsty Thursdays" group, an avid boater, and a supporter of her family's athletic endeavors. She never missed an opportunity to cheer on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whether from the sidelines or from the heart.
Ann's life was a beautiful mosaic of service, love, and laughter. She stayed active and busy, always finding new ways to engage with life and those around her. Her presence was a source of comfort and strength, and her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her.
As we say goodbye to Ann Francis Billock, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will endure through the generations.
