Ellen Emerita Arnold

Ellen "Ouellette" Arnold, 101, of Marine City, went home to be with her Lord on November 20, 2025.
She was born in Marine City on her family farm on November 10, 1924, daughter of the late Russell and Blanche (Rogers) Ouellette.
Ellen was a lifelong resident of Marine City except for a period of years living in Port Huron. She loved and enjoyed her family first & foremost with much pride.
Ellen married Brenwood Arnold in June of 1949. He passed away on March 7, 2020. She graduated from Holy Cross High School in June of 1941. She graduated from Port Huron Cosmetology College in 1943 and worked in the Blue Water Area for 53 years as a Licensed Cosmetologist.
She is survived by her son, Tony (Connie) Arnold of Kenockee Township; daughter, Roberta Sullivan of Kimball Township; four grandchildren, Todd (Pam) Arnold, Brent (Stephanie) Arnold, Michelle (George) Taylor, and Rachel Sullivan; ten great-grandchildren, Colton, Caleb, Colby, Brent, Drew, Kaylie, Brooke, Elizabeth, Jace, and Ellie; and nieces, Linda, Cathy, and Karen.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandchildren, Kelly and Autumn; son-in-law, David Sullivan; sisters, Augusta, Beth, Rogers, Axie, and Joan; brother, Russell II; as well as special niece and nephew, Mary and Thomas Tessmer.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, a1 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 610 S. Water St, Marine City, Michigan 48039. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in St. Clair. Arrangements were entrusted to Grace Memorial.
Pallbearers will be Todd, Brent, Colton, Caleb, Jimmy, and Drew.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Cross Catholic Church or St. Jude’s Children's Hospitals.
