Brent Edge Obituary
A native of Clermont he was a graduate of North Hall High and was employed by Cantrell Mechanical Solutions. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, Gainesville GA. He was a loving husband and father, devoted to his family and friends. Brent loved the outdoors from hiking, camping, fishing, hunting or just relaxing on the beach. Brent was known for his funny sense of humor, quick wit and the love he had for his dog, Josie. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends
He is preceded in death by his Father, Alton Edge.
Brent is survived by his loving wife Rita Stevens Edge, daughters Callie Murphy (Brett) and Mallory Edge. Mother Glenda Edge Vance (Bill), Brother Johnny Edge (Sabrina) and Sister Jennifer Wiley (Jonny). As well as several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, January 8, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 at Antioch United Methodist Church, 2922 Antioch Church Road, Gainesville Ga 30506. A Celebration of Life Service will be held after visitation at Antioch Campground at 3:30PM. Rev. Kyle Savage and Rev. Randy Strickland to officiate the services with special music by Matt Hulsey.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses that look such good care of him during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Antioch United Methodist Church or Antioch Campground.
