MUNCIE- Brent Arthur Langdon, 56, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 3, 2021 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Brent was born June 1, 1965 in Muncie and is the son of Sherril Faye (Welch) Langdon and the late Arthur Victor Langdon, Jr.
Brent was a 1983 graduate of Muncie Central High School and had attended Ball State University. He was employed as the Grounds Manager of the Delaware County Fairgrounds and had previously been in employed in the shipping and receiving department of Global Building Products. Brent was an avid outdoorsman and owned his own Kayaking business. He was an outgoing, kind, loving son, father, grandfather and brother.
Brent is survived by his mother Sherril Faye (Welch) Langdon; three daughters Michelle Ann Eshelman (Justin), Ashley Lynn Langdon and Tori Marie Langdon; three grandchildren Elise Kay Steinke, Evalyn Fae Steinke and Ryan "Rocco" Douglas Eshelman; two sisters Sherrie Douthitt and Lesa Kay Langdon (Jo Pitser); brother-in-law Thomas Douthitt; niece Samantha Bell (David) and his loving dog Charlie " Chuck Chuck" and a host of many dear and close friends.
Brent is preceded in death by his father Arthur Victor Langdon, Jr. and a nephew Zachary L. Douthitt.
Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. The Meeks Mortuary & Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Brent's honor to ARF (Animal Relief Fund) 1209 West Riggin Road, Muncie, IN 47303.
